LFM Server 3.93.1.2: Product Update
Introduction of AutoCAD 2009 Interface
Z+F UK specialises in 3D laser scanning. Our LFM development team uses its experience to solve complex problems, yet making intuitive and powerful tools. User feedback is constantly sought and integrated into new versions of LFM. By actively listening to our customers the LFM product range is now one of the most comprehensive available. LFM is fast becoming regarded as an industry standard.
Following extensive development work, the link between LFM Server and AutoCAD 2009 is now available. It contains many enhancements over the existing AutoCAD links. These include:
- Full support for all of the graphics modes offered by AutoCAD
- 2D & 3D Wire Frame
- 3D Hidden
- Realistic
- Conceptual
- Flicker free rendering
- Native points drawing within the AutoCAD environment
- Fully compliant with CADWorx - by COADE
- Interfaces with AutoCAD MEP - by Autodesk
- Fully compliant with AutoPlant - by Bentley
This upgrade of LFM Server affects the following AutoCAD products:
- AutoCAD 2007 (32bit)
- AutoCAD 2008 (32bit)
- AutoCAD 2009 (32bit, 64bit)
Although Autodesk have declared all versions of AutoCAD prior to 2007 to be end of life, the arx links for AutoCAD 2002, 2004, 2005 and 2006 are unchanged and will be available for the foreseeable future.

York, 22-23 April,
Z+F UK will be exhibiting at Xces 2009. The Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (ICES) are this year hosting Xces 2009, the Exhibition for Construction and Engineering Surveying. York Racecourse will be the venue for the above exhibition showcasing measurement, imagery, mapping, design, data collection and positioning products, accessories and services for the construction and engineering industry.
